She’s not feeling the attention.
Doja Cat said she was deactivating her Instagram account because she’s been having “f–ked up thoughts” due to how she’s been “treated” on the app.
“hey i’m gonna deactivate because i’m not really feeling this anymore,” she wrote in a now-deleted post Saturday.
“you guys take care of yourselves. i like coming here to find inspo and see people being creative but i just feel like this is getting to be too much.”
The “Paint the Town Red” rapper, 28, said that she has “f–ked up thoughts” due to “the way im spoken to on here and treated.”
“Please watch how you talk to and about people on the internet. Bye,” she concluded.
Doja — born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini — then promptly deleted her Instagram account, which had more than 24 million followers.
Page Six has reached out to Doja’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Several fans took to social media to send well wishes to the Grammy winner.
“i hope she’s okay we all love her 🖤,” tweeted one fan.
“We love you and respect your decisions, Doja!❤️,” added another.
“Wish some of us could reach out to her, but so thankful she’s taking care of her mental health,” said a third user.

“This makes me so sad, I hate that people drive her to do this. I hope her mental health improves,” wrote a fourth person.
Last summer, Doja reportedly lost more than 250,000 followers on Instagram after she got into a public spat with her loyal fanbase, who call themselves “Kittenz.”
“My fans don’t name themselves s–t,” she wrote on Threads last July. “If you call yourself a ‘kitten’ or f–king ‘kittenz’ that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house.”
When her fans pointed out that the “Agora Hills” emcee coined the term years ago, Doja said that she made up the moniker as an “alcoholic teen.”
The pop star then slammed “creepy” fans who used her legal name on their social media profiles.
The rant prompted several of Doja’s biggest fan pages — including the Kittens Room, Doja HQ and Doja Cat News — to delete their Twitter accounts.
Additionally, the “Say So” singer has been facing criticism about her ever-changing look.
In August 2022, Doja shaved her head and eyebrows on Instagram Live.
And in May 2023, the “Need to Know” singer debuted an enormous bat skeleton tattoo, which covered her entire back.
