Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie Work at Sonic Drive-In for The Simple Life Reboot

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are back to work!

On Monday, Aug. 6, the friends shot scenes for The Simple Life reboot at a Sonic Drive-In in Duarte, Calif.

The duo, who called themselves “Silly” and “Billy” on the reality show, put a chic spin on the fast food chain’s blue uniform, with Hilton, 43, sporting a pair of sparkling silver heels, mirrored Swarovski sunglasses and a personalized diamante-encrusted handbag, while Richie, 42, added a pair of cream slingback heels to her ensemble.

The close friends also wore name badges and appeared to be wearing minidresses underneath their blue aprons.

Richie then proved she hasn’t lost any of her sense of humor since the show first aired in 2003, switching up her look by slipping into a hilarious hot dog costume! 

Still sporting her heels, the mother of two held hands with Hilton as she strutted down the sidewalk in the get-up, which featured a Sonic Drive-In cap.

PEOPLE reported in May that Hilton and Richie would be reuniting for the reboot of the popular series, which originally ran from 2003 to 2007.

The show, which saw them travel across the U.S. picking up odd jobs and, eventually, entering the corporate world, ran for five seasons.

Last month, Hilton opened up about how fun it was to reunite with her pal for their new series on Peacock.

“Hey guys, just got home from shooting with Nicole,” the DJ and heiress said in a video shared on Instagram. “As some of you may know, we are doing a reunion special to celebrate 20 years of our show, The Simple Life.”

“It’s been so much fun and we’re planning something very, very special and I thought the best place to find the people that I would want to be a part of this is here," the mother of two added.

“So basically, Nicole and I are planning something iconic, fun,” Hilton continued. “It’s going to be epic and I want to invite the biggest super fans. So I thought I would come on here and ask you guys to make a video.”

The entrepreneur went on to say that Simple Life fans can use their videos to explain what they loved about the show and talk about their favorite episodes and scenes.

“If you wanna sing ‘Sanasa’ I would love that too,” Hilton continued, referencing the word that she and Richie used to constantly sing on the reality series.
